John Inverdale

John Inverdale has been one of the BBC's leading radio and TV presenters for the past 20 years. He has attended most major sporting events since the Seoul Olympics of 1988, and is due to host the athletics coverage for London 2012. He is chairman of rugby at National Division One club Esher, and has two daughters who play sport which gives him an insight into operational issues and facilities at the grass roots.
